Job summary

Lifestyle Solutions is seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker in Innisfail, QLD to assist a customer to become more independent at home and in the community.

You will provide personal care, support with daily living skills, and participation in community programs. The role requires flexibility across shifts, a valid driver’s license, and adherence to individual care plans. Training and a supportive team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be happy to provide personal care to customers.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and comprehensive car insurance.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.
• First Aid certificate (HLTAID003)
• Formal qualifications in Disability or Community Services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mentoring and skill development for personal interests.
• Coaching independent living skills such as cooking and domestic tasks.
• Administering medication and following individual support plans.
• Completing handover notes and incident reports.
• Providing personal care when required.
• Helping customers engage with community programs and activities.
• Epilepsy management knowledge is essential.
• Mental health crisis awareness and response.
• Basic data entry and record keeping.
