Job summary

UnitingCare Children, Young People and Families – Warwick QLD is seeking a Casual Personal Carer to support clients in their homes across Warwick and surrounding areas. You will provide in-home personal care, daily living assistance, and transportation support to help clients maintain independence.

The role requires a Certificate III Aged Care or equivalent, a valid Australian driver’s licence, and a roadworthy vehicle. Salary packaging and other benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Certificate III Aged Care or equivalent qualification (Essential).
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) (Essential).
• Vehicle must be roadworthy and insured for work use (Essential).
• Experience with technology such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
• Ability to satisfy probity checks required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Spend time on the road visiting clients in their homes, providing daily living assistance.
• Assist with showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing.
• Follow each client’s Care Plan and support independence and quality of life.
• Support participation in community activities and assist with appointments and shopping.
