Job summary

UnitingCare Children, Young People and Families in Stanthorpe, QLD, is seeking a Casual Personal Carer to visit clients in their homes across Stanthorpe and surrounding areas. You will travel to client homes, perform daily living tasks, and support independence as outlined in each Care Plan.

The role requires a Certificate III in Aged Care or Equivalent, and a current Australian Driver's Licence with a roadworthy vehicle for work.

Qualifications

• Certificate III Aged Care or equivalent qualification is essential.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence is essential.
• Vehicle that is roadworthy and insured is essential for work.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home personal care and daily living assistance including showering, meal prep, house cleaning, laundry and ironing.
• Support clients with daily activities and maintain their independence.
• Follow individual Care Plans and support with community-based activities.
