Job summary

BlueCare is seeking a Personal Carer to deliver compassionate, in-home care to clients in Warwick and surrounding areas. You will travel between client homes, assisting with daily activities and maintaining independence according to care plans.

The role requires a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent, plus a current Australian driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle. You will work as part of a trusted, not-for-profit care team with strong safeguarding commitments.

Qualifications

• Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support or an equivalent qualification — Essential
• Current Australian Driver's Licence (Green Provisional minimum) — Essential
• Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work — Essential
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
• Abide by probity checks required by legislation or policies
• Abide by the Child Safe Standards and reportable conduct scheme

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home personal care to clients in their own homes in the community
• Support clients with daily living activities and independence
• Complete scheduled visits and transport to appointments and shopping
• Assist with daily tasks such as showering, meal prep, housekeeping, laundry and ironing
• Support clients with community activities and social engagement
