UnitingCare Children, Young People and Families in Queensland is seeking a Personal Carer to support clients in their homes across Crows Nest and surrounding areas. You will visit clients, provide daily living assistance and help maintain independence.
The role is permanent part-time with a focus on compassionate care, driving between visits, and following Care Plans to meet individual needs. Salary packaging and additional benefits are available where applicable.
Competenze
- Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent – Essential
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) – Essential
- Roadworthy & insured vehicle to use for work – Essential
- Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
- Confidence to satisfy the probity checks required by legislation or policies
Mansioni
- Spend time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes
- In home personal care including showering, personal hygiene, meal prep, house cleaning, laundry and ironing
- Providing care in accordance with individual Care Plans
- Supporting with community-based recreational and social activities
- Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments
