Job summary

UnitingCare Children, Young People and Families in Kingaroy seeks a Personal Carer to support clients in the community. You will travel to home visits, assist with daily living tasks and personal care, and follow tailored care plans to boost independence and quality of life.

Role requires care qualifications, a valid driver’s licence, and a vehicle for work. You will participate in community activities and be part of Australia’s trusted care network under BlueCare.

Qualifications

Certificate III Aged Care or equivalent - Essential
Current Australian Driver's Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential
Roadworthy & insured vehicle to use for work - Essential
Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc - Essential

Responsibilities

Spending time on the road visiting clients in their homes for daily living support
In-home personal care including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing
Providing care in accordance with individualised Care Plan
Supporting with community-based recreational and social activities
Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments
