Job summary

BlueCare is seeking a Personal Carer (Domestic) to support clients in the community around Highfields, Crows Nest and surrounding areas. You will visit clients at home, assist with daily activities and domestic tasks to improve quality of life.

Essential requirements include a current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) and a roadworthy vehicle. Tech comfort with smartphones and tablets is important for note-taking and coordination.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential.
• Roadworthy & insured vehicle to use for work - Essential.
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc.
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to clients in the community, supporting independence and quality of life.
• Spend time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes.
• Provide domestic assistance with house cleaning, meal preparation & laundry and ironing.
• Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.
