Job summary

BlueCare, part of UnitingCare Queensland, seeks a Personal Carer Domestic to support clients in the community across Cornubia, Steiglitz and surrounding areas. You will travel to client homes, perform daily living activities and domestic duties to enhance independence and quality of life.

The role requires a current Australian driver’s licence, vehicle insurance, and the ability to meet probity checks. This permanent part-time position offers salary packaging, travel reimbursements and

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential
• Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work - Essential
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies

Responsibilities

• Spend time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes
• Provide domestic assistance with house cleaning, meal preparation & laundry and ironing
• Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments
