Job summary

Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Community Transport is seeking a detail‑oriented transport scheduling professional to coordinate daily services across all streams in the Hornsby/Ku-ring-gai region. You will allocate requests to drivers, maximise occupancy and monitor service delivery to adapt to schedule changes.

The role requires experience in transport scheduling or logistics within community health or transport sectors, proficiency with TRIPS, Microsoft 365 and Xero, and current NSW Driver Licence.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience relevant to transport scheduling, customer service or community services.
• Experience in transport scheduling, rostering, logistics coordination, and client services in community/health/aged care or transport sectors.
• Familiarity with technology suites such as Microsoft 365, Employment Hero, TRIPS, and Xero.
• Relevant clearances: NSW Working with Children, National Disability Worker Screening, and National Criminal History check.
• Current NSW Driver Licence and strong knowledge of Hornsby/Ku-ring-gai region.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transport schedules across all service streams.
• Allocate transport requests to vehicles and drivers.
• Maximise vehicle occupancy and route efficiency.
• Monitor service delivery and respond to schedule changes.
• Monitor bookings, cancellations and amendments.
• Prepare and distribute daily runsheets and ensure TRIPS app reflects the RUNs for clients.
• Respond to client enquiries and transport requests.
• Assess eligibility and service requirements.
• Enter and update information in transport management systems.
