Job summary

ConnectSydney is recruiting a Customer & Stakeholder Advisor to join our Rockdale office. This 12-month fixed-term role supports the Customer & Stakeholder Manager in building community relationships and ensuring engagement is notified and consulted with stakeholders.

You will be front-line in managing our reputation and driving high levels of customer satisfaction, with hybrid working arrangements and opportunities to extend based on performance.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Public Relations/Marketing/Communication & Journalism (Desirable).
• IAP2 certificate (Desirable).
• Current Drivers Licence.
• Exposure to the building/construction/engineering sectors.
• Exposure to the practice of community relations and stakeholder engagement.
• Highly organised and methodical.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Proven ability to engage with a diverse range of people.

Responsibilities

• Act as a first point of contact and liaison with the community, stakeholders and customers regarding planned works.
• Run community, stakeholder and customer consultations with the Manager.
• Participate in door-knocks and meetings with residents, customers and stakeholders.
• Organise distribution of collateral and information using traditional and digital channels.
• Coordinate with Fault Management Centre and Councils on vegetation, graffiti, litter and road maintenance.
• Coordinate with local councils to trim vegetation affecting traffic assets.
• Draft community engagement plans and seek approval.
• Draft public facing collateral and coordinate approvals.
• Update and maintain Consultation Manager recording and closing out interactions.
• Provide information to TfNSW for ministerial briefings and media responses.
• Support research and survey programs on Harbour Zone stakeholders and communities.
• Manage TfNSW milestone weekly reporting requirement.
• Manage 1800 community line and inbox, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Provide high level customer service to bolster reputation.
