Job summary

Public Sector People is seeking a motivated Community Engagement Advisor (Contract) to join a local government project in Sydney. You will develop and implement engagement strategies, build strong stakeholder relationships and facilitate meetings to drive meaningful community outcomes.

Ideal applicants hold a tertiary qualification in PR, social science or communications (or equivalent experience), IAP2 certification, and a track record in planning and evaluating community engagement.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in public relations, social science, communications or a relevant field (or equivalent working experience).
• IAP2 Certification.
• Experience developing and implementing Community and Stakeholder Engagement Plans.
• Experience monitoring and evaluating engagement outcomes to draw valuable insights.
• Experience working within local government is highly desirable.
• Current NSW Drivers Licence.
