Be Recruitment Group in Mount Isa is seeking a Team Leader to guide a local team connecting individuals and families with services and community networks across Mount Isa. You will blend people leadership with community engagement to support day-to-day service delivery and build partnerships with local organisations.

This role offers hands-on leadership that strengthens referral pathways, supports outreach to people facing barriers, and ensures consistent intake, assessment, and referral

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in community services or related settings.
• Diploma or higher qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Experience in community engagement or service coordination.
• Ability to develop partnerships and represent a service.
• Commitment to culturally safe and inclusive practice including engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
• Sound judgement and understanding of risk management.
• Strong communication, organisation and administration skills.
• Current driver licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching and support to staff.
• Coordinate community hub activities, drop-in sessions and information sessions.
• Build relationships with local health, mental health, disability and community organisations.
• Strengthen referral pathways and identify gaps in available support.
• Support outreach to people facing barriers to accessing services.
• Guide intake, assessment, support planning and referral practices.
• Maintain records and contribute to reporting requirements.
