Job summary

Nillumbik Shire Council in Greensborough, VIC is seeking a Community Safety Support Officer to deliver high‑quality customer service and provide administrative support across animal registration, local laws, permits and licensing, school crossing supervision and graffiti management.

This permanent full‑time role offers Band 4A pay of AU$74,278.63 per year plus 12% super and annual leave loading, with flexible working arrangements, monthly RDOs and generous leave provisions.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to provide high-quality customer service and administrative support.
• Experience with word processing, data entry and database tasks.
• Understanding of local government processes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Attend to enquiries via telephone and counter in line with council commitments.
• Perform general administrative duties including correspondence, filing and data entry.
• Assist in generating reports and maintaining knowledge base for Community Safety.
