Job summary

Nillumbik Shire Council invites applications for the Community Safety Support Officer based in Greensborough. Qualifications

• Highly developed word processing and data entry skills.
• Understanding of the programs and responsibilities of Council's Community Safety and Amenity teams
• Understanding of, or ability to quickly acquire knowledge of, administrative requirements
• Proficient in word processing, databases, document management systems with a high accuracy rate essential.

Responsibilities

• Attend to Community Safety Support telephone and counter enquiries as per Customer First commitments.
• Provide general administrative duties including correspondence tracking, word processing, databases, filing and mail outs.
• Assist in generation and analysis of reports and statistics on Community Safety performance.
• Contribute to developing the electronic knowledge base and cross-training of Customer Service staff.
• Provide timely follow-up to enquiries, service requests and complaints.
