Job summary

Ingenia Communities Group invites applications for a Community Manager at Ingenia Lifestyle Ko (Gordonvale) in the Cairns Region. You will lead day-to-day community operations, be the face of the community, and champion resident experience as first residents arrive in 2027.

You will build relationships with residents, staff, Home Owners Committees and stakeholders, while overseeing budgets, safety and compliance; partnering with Development, Sales & Marketing to deliver amenities and activities

Qualifications

• Have previous leadership experience in community management, retirement living, aged care, hospitality, tourism or a related field.
• Demonstrate empathy, emotional intelligence and a genuine commitment to resident wellbeing.
• Have experience managing budgets, operations and competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Create a culture where outstanding customer service is the foundation of every interaction.
• Build trusted and meaningful relationships with residents, Home Owners Committees and community stakeholders.
• Ensure residents feel welcomed, supported and valued throughout their journey within the community.
• Proactively seek resident feedback and implement initiatives that enhance satisfaction and community engagement.
• Resolve resident concerns with empathy, professionalism and a solution-focused approach.
• Champion resident wellbeing by fostering a connected, inclusive and engaging community environment.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team aligned with Ingenia's values and service standards.
• Create a positive workplace culture focused on accountability, collaboration and resident-first thinking.
• Oversee the daily operations of the community, ensuring high standards of presentation, safety and compliance.
• Manage budgets, financial performance and operational resources effectively.
• Coordinate maintenance, grounds and contractor activities to ensure a well-presented community environment.
• Ensure accurate administration, reporting and compliance with company policies and relevant legislation.
• Manage risk, safety, emergency preparedness and operational audits.
• Support community events, activities and lifestyle programs that create connection and belonging.
