Job summary

WeWork in Sydney is seeking a friendly Community Associate to be the daily face of the building. You’ll report to the Community Lead and support the Community Management team by greeting members, managing front desk operations, and ensuring guests sign in and feel welcome.

Your role includes supporting events, engaging members, promoting services, and maintaining smooth building operations, mail handling, and policies.

Qualifications

• College graduate preferred but not required.
• 1+ year of hospitality experience.
• Customer service and/or sales experience a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal and multitasking skills.
• Demonstrate integrity, dependability and compassion.
• Passion for entrepreneurial communities and WeWork mission.

Responsibilities

• Cover the front desk during business hours and be an on-site point of contact.
• Greet members and guests with a warm, welcoming demeanor.
• Ensure guests sign in according to policy via Welkio tablet.
• Learn member names to build relationships and foster community.
• Anticipate member needs to enhance their experience.
• Maintain up-to-date location forms and mail handling.
• Support events and membership engagement initiatives.
• Manage mail, parcels, and building operations efficiently.
