Transgrid in Sydney is seeking a Community and Stakeholder Engagement Officer to help deliver engagement programs, coordinate consultations, and respond to stakeholder enquiries across the Sydney Ring South project. You will work with project teams to ensure community feedback informs planning and decision-making.
The role requires a tertiary qualification in communications or related field, experience managing stakeholder interactions, and the ability to work both independently and with teams.

As a Community and Stakeholder Engagement Officer, you will play a hands‑on role in delivering engagement programs, coordinating consultation activities, responding to stakeholder enquiries and ensuring community feedback informs the development of critical energy infrastructure.
Working alongside project teams and engagement specialists, you will support a range of community and stakeholder initiatives, including information sessions, workshops, stakeholder briefings and consultation events. You are a confident and approachable engagement professional who enjoys connecting with people and building trusted relationships. A strong communicator, you can engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. You are organised, proactive and solutions‑focused, with the ability to balance competing priorities while delivering a consistently high standard of stakeholder service.
You thrive in collaborative environments, have strong attention to detail and are comfortable coordinating engagement activities, managing stakeholder enquiries, maintaining accurate records and supporting consultation processes. Most importantly, you understand the value of listening to communities, building trust and ensuring stakeholder feedback is thoughtfully considered in project planning and decision‑making.
