Job summary

Transgrid is looking for a proactive Team Assistant to support the Corporate Affairs, Stakeholder Engagement & Environment (CASEE) function. You will assist General Managers, coordinate administrative tasks, and help with diary and travel management, events and reporting.

The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and excellent communication with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• Experience as group administrator or team assistant in a large organisation.
• Familiar with Office365 and document management systems.
• Familiar with using a CRM, preferably Salesforce.
• Demonstrated time-management skills with competing priorities.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Provide trusted support to General Managers and coordinate a wide range of administrative activities.
• Manage diary and travel arrangements and assist with team events.
• Support reporting tasks and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Coordinate operational activities to keep the business unit running smoothly.

Transgrid operates and manages the major high voltage electricity transmission network in NSW and the ACT, connecting generators, distributors and major end users.
Our core role is to connect electricity consumers to a safe, secure and reliable network through efficient maintenance, proficient operation of assets and prudent investment. Our network is the backbone of the NEM, enabling energy trading between Australia's three largest states along the east coast and supporting the competitive wholesale electricity market

About the role

Join a collaborative team at the heart of Transgrid's Corporate Affairs, Stakeholder Engagement & Environment (CASEE) function, for a max term - until January 2028. As Team Assistant, you'll play a vital role in keeping the business unit running smoothly, providing trusted support to General Managers and coordinating a wide range of administrative, team and operational activities. From diary and travel management to team events, reporting and stakeholder engagement support, this is a fast-paced and varied role where your organisation, initiative and attention to detail will help enable the successful delivery of critical projects that support Australia's energy future.

About you

You are a proactive and highly organised professional who thrives on building strong relationships and supporting busy teams. With excellent communication skills and a confident, approachable style, you can engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels while managing competing priorities with ease. You take initiative, anticipate needs before they arise, and enjoy creating efficient, well-coordinated processes that help teams perform at their best. Other requirements include:

• Previous or relevant experience as a group administrator or team assistant in a large organisation
• Familiarity with Office365 and a variety of document management systems
• Familiar with the use of a CRM, preferably Salesforce
• Demonstrated time-management skills including the ability to manage competing priorities
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
