Job summary

Community Housing Limited – South Kempsey NSW is seeking a Community Connector who will work with tenants, volunteers and partner organisations to plan, deliver and evaluate group activities that improve health, wellbeing and social inclusion. This hands-on role combines program delivery, volunteer coordination and strong communication, with a focus on inclusive, safe and connected communities.

The successful candidate will have experience delivering community or health programs, plus working

Qualifications

• Experience delivering community, social or health programs.
• Experience working with or supporting volunteers or groups.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Ability to plan, coordinate and run community activities.
• Able to work independently and manage priorities.
• Inclusive, culturally respectful practice.
• Basic awareness of WHS and safe work practices.
• Police Check + Working With Children Check required.
• Qualification in community services or related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver group-based activities that respond to local needs.
• Support volunteers, help with basic administration and reporting.
• Contribute to program evaluation and continuous improvement.
• Work directly with tenants, volunteers and partner organisations.
