Job summary

Advantage Healthcare Support (AHS) is seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to join our team in Lake Macquarie NSW. You will provide person-centred support to participants with complex needs, helping maintain independence, wellbeing, and quality of life.

This casual role is ideal for support workers looking to pick up extra shifts with flexible hours, across weekdays and weekends. A valid driver’s licence, WWCC, NDIS checks, and current First Aid/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Experience with manual handling, high-care support and challenging behaviours.
• Prior experience as a Disability Support Worker or AIN is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred support to NDIS clients.
• Assist with daily living, personal care, domestic tasks, transport, and community access.
• Support clients attending appointments and engaging in social activities.
• Plan and accompany clients on outings and activities.
• Work across weekdays, weekends and public holidays (on-call flexibility required).
• Perform Disability Support Worker and AIN duties.

Advantage Healthcare Support (AHS) is seeking an experienced and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team.

We are looking for a dedicated professional who can provide person-centred support to a participant with complex needs, helping maintain independence, wellbeing, and quality of life.

This opportunity is ideal for support workers seeking extra shifts to complement their existing schedule.

Essential Requirements:

• Must be open to accepting 2-hour services.
• Must be available across weekdays and weekends.
• Full Australian driver’s licence and own vehicle.
• Comprehensive car insurance.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Valid First Aid & CPR certificates.
• Working with Children Check (WWCC).

What We’re Looking For:
