Job summary

Advantage Healthcare Support Nursing Agency is seeking a compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our Nelson Bay team. You will provide person-centred support to NDIS participants with complex needs, helping maintain independence, wellbeing and quality of life.

This casual role offers flexible hours across weekdays, weekends and public holidays, with on-call shifts. Successful applicants will have a full Australian driver's license, own vehicle, WWCC, first aid and CPR, and NDIA screening.

Qualifications

• Must be open to 2-hour services.
• Available across weekdays and weekends.
• Full Australian driver’s licence and own vehicle.
• Comprehensive car insurance.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Valid First Aid & CPR certificates.
• Working with Children Check (WWCC).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred support to NDIS clients.
• Assist with daily living, personal care, domestic tasks, transport, and community access.
• Support clients attending appointments and engaging in social activities.
• Plan and accompany clients on outings and activities.
• Work across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays (on-call flexibility required).
• Perform Disability Support Worker and Assistant in Nursing (AIN) duties.

Advantage Healthcare Support (AHS) is seeking an experienced and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team.

We are looking for a dedicated professional who can provide person-centred support to a participant with complex needs, helping maintain independence, wellbeing, and quality of life.

This opportunity is ideal for support workers seeking extra shifts to complement their existing schedule.

Essential Requirements:
