Job summary

Advantage Healthcare Support (AHS) seeks an experienced Disability Support Worker to provide person-centred support to a participant with complex needs in Canberra. The role focuses on independence, wellbeing and quality of life, and is ideal for those seeking extra shifts to complement their schedule.

• First Aid & CPR certificates required.
• WWCC required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred support to NDIS clients.
• Assist with daily living, personal care, domestic tasks, transport, and community access.
• Support clients at appointments and in social activities.
• Plan and accompany clients on outings and activities.
• Work across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays (on-call flexibility).
• Perform Disability Support Worker and AIN duties.

We are looking for a dedicated professional who can provide person-centred support to a participant with complex needs, helping maintain independence, wellbeing, and quality of life.

Essential Requirements:

• Must be open to accepting 2-hour services.
• Must be available across weekdays and weekends.
• Full Australian driver’s licence and own vehicle.
• Comprehensive car insurance.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Valid First Aid & CPR certificates.
• Working with Children Check (WWCC).

What We’re Looking For:
