Job summary

Offshore Staff Assist is seeking professionals to fill roles such as Community Development Officer, Community Support Worker and Housing Officer across Queensland. The positions aim to develop programs, tackle welfare challenges, and coordinate services with government bodies and community groups.

Qualifications

• Qualifications equivalent to an AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2).
• Three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients' needs and devise, develop, and implement educational, training, and support programs.
• Interview clients to determine the nature and extent of their difficulties.
• Monitor and report on client progress.
• Refer clients to additional support agencies as needed.
• Evaluate community needs in health, welfare, housing, employment, training and related services.
• Work with community groups, welfare agencies, government bodies and private businesses to address issues and raise awareness of resources.
