Job summary

Western Downs Regional Council is seeking a Community Activation Officer to plan, coordinate and deliver a range of community programs, events, and initiatives across the region. You will work with the Community Activation & Events Coordinator to engage with community groups, stakeholders, and residents to foster participation and vibrant liveability.

The role requires experience in planning community events, strong relationship-building, and excellent communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and delivering community events and activation programs.
• Ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders and community groups.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organisational, and administrative skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Experience leading event teams.
• Experience managing event budgets.
• Sound judgement and passion for vibrant, connected communities.

Responsibilities
