Job summary

Western Downs Regional Council – Dalby QLD is seeking a Community Activation Officer to plan, coordinate, and deliver a diverse range of community programs, events, and initiatives that enhance community connection and liveability across the region.

Working closely with the Community Activation & Events Coordinator, you will engage with community groups, stakeholders and residents to inspire participation and foster a strong sense of community.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and delivering community events and activation programs.
• Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and community groups.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and administrative skills.
• Capable of managing multiple projects and priorities.
• Experience leading event teams and managing event budgets.
• Sound judgement and passion for vibrant, connected communities.

As the Community Activation Officer, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and delivering a diverse range of community programs, events, and initiatives that enhance community connection, participation, and liveability across the region.
