RACV Hobart Apartment Hotel is seeking a casual Commis Chef to join its kitchen brigade. You will report to the Head Chef and work across restaurant, bar, conference and events, and room service with a focus on local ingredients and seasonal dishes.

You’ll support the team in a fast-paced setting, contribute to menu development and costings, and help maintain high standards of quality and consistency across all service periods.

Formación

• Commercial Cookery Qualification – Cert III or IV
• Experience with local produce and seasonal menus is desirable
• Able to work efficiently in a busy kitchen and adapt to changing demands

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the effective operation of the kitchen across sections
• Work across Charcoal Restaurant and Cascade on Collins Bar as part of a larger kitchen brigade
• Support Head Chef and senior kitchen team to ensure quality and consistency
• Rostered shifts across a 7‑day rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays
