Job summary

Crown Perth is hiring a Commis Chef to join a dynamic, fast-paced professional kitchen. You will prepare and present high-quality dishes, learn new techniques, and support the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences daily.

You will work to Crown standards with a strong emphasis on food safety, HACCP compliance, and teamwork, rotating across rosters including evenings and weekends as required. A positive attitude and commitment to quality will help you grow in this premium hospitality

Qualifications

Certificate III & IV in Commercial Cookery or Kitchen Management IV (Minimum Requirement).
Minimum two years experience in a professional kitchen environment as a Commis Chef (essential).
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
The ability to work effectively within a team.
Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

Preparing and presenting high-quality dishes in line with Crown standards.
Supporting the kitchen team in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Learning a variety of cooking techniques, cuisines and service styles.
Maintaining food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards.
Contributing to a positive and collaborative team culture.
Working closely with experienced chefs who are committed to mentoring and developing emerging talent.
