Qualifications

• Experience as a Commis Chef in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound understanding of food safety standards and HACCP principles.
• Excellent organisational and grooming standards.

Responsibilities

• Work with the kitchen team mostly during dinner service to coordinate preparation and production of food.
• Prepare and present menu items with variety, creativity, and flair.
• Ensure stock rotation and minimise wastage with stock control procedures.
• Keep all working areas clean, organised and tidy.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure it is cleaned and serviced.
• Assist with programs upholding high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and outlets.
• Assist with ordering food supplies according to business needs.
