Job summary

Vista Hospitality Group operates voco Brisbane City Centre and Hotel Indigo Brisbane City Centre, seeking Commis Chefs to join a creative culinary team. You will be at the forefront of our food offering, delivering locally sourced, seasonal dishes and memorable guest experiences under the guidance of an exceptional Executive Chef.

Multiple roles available across Casual, Part-time and Full-time, with opportunities to grow within the Vista and IHG network and access international accommodation

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a vibrant & dynamic fast-paced, creative kitchen.
• High energy with a passion for achieving superior results.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively.
• Professional and personable with a can-do attitude.
• Thrives under pressure and adapts to new situations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Possess a Food Safety certificate (as necessary).

Responsibilities

• Love and live the brand and be a great ambassador of voco hotels and Hotel Indigo.
• Delight guests with the provision of a sublime food offering.
• Assist with the conception and execution of exciting menus.
• Support the broader kitchen team as required.
• Adhere to all food & general safety & hygiene legislation and procedures.
• Respond quickly and attentively to guest requests and needs, ensuring a great experience.
• Be flexible to work a rotational 7 day week roster.
