Job summary

McGuire Hotels' is seeking a talented Commis Chef to join the kitchen team at the Colmslie Hotel in Morningside, QLD. This full-time role supports the Head Chef and Senior Chefs in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

You will assist with preparation, cooking and presentation of a diverse range of dishes, uphold food safety standards, and help maintain a clean, well-stocked kitchen while contributing ideas to enhance our menu.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in Commercial Cookery or equivalent industry experience.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality food.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Enthusiasm for creating innovative and delicious dishes.
