Job summary

The Beenleigh RSL & Golf Club in Mount Warren Park, QLD 4207, is seeking a Commis Chef to support the Head Chef and deliver top-quality dining for members and guests. This full-time role offers ongoing training and a collaborative, team-oriented kitchen environment.

You will assist with daily food preparation, help manage kitchen operations, and contribute to menu development while upholding strict food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Chef in hospitality or catering.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Food safety and hygiene certification.

As a Commis Chef at the Beenleigh RSL & Golf Club, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests. This full-time position is based in our kitchen located in Mount Warren Park, QLD 4207.

• Assisting the Head Chef in the overall management and operation of the kitchen
• Supervising and training the kitchen team to ensure consistent food quality and presentation
• Coordinating the daily food preparation
• Ensuring strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
• Collaborating with the Head Chef to develop and implement new menu items
• Providing exceptional customer service to members and guests
