Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts – Surfers Paradise QLD voco Gold Coast is looking for a Part-Time Commis Chef to join our talented Kitchen team. As our Commis Chef, you’ll support the Kitchen team across daily food preparation and service, helping us deliver consistently great dining experiences for our guests.

You’ll be responsible for preparing and presenting dishes to a high standard, maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment, following food safety, hygiene and workplace procedures, and

• Has relevant cookery qualifications.
• Experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred.
• Shows passion for food and hospitality.

What we're looking for

• Has previous experience in a commercial kitchen, ideally within a hotel or similar environment
• Has a genuine passion for food and hospitality
• Works well as part of a busy, supportive team
• Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in their work
• Is reliable, organised and able to work under pressure
• Has flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends, evenings and public holidays
• Holds relevant cookery qualifications
