The Langham, Gold Coast is seeking a passionate Commis Chef to deliver memorable dining experiences in a five-star kitchen. You will work alongside skilled chefs to refine technique and contribute to exceptional guest service on Australia’s renowned Gold Coast beachfront.

Ideal candidates will have hospitality or culinary training, a drive for excellence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining top-quality plating and presentation.

Qualifications

• Completed technical education in hospitality or culinary school.
• Strong knowledge of current food trends and techniques.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure kitchen with accuracy.

KeyResponsibilities

Our Commis Chef will be driven to work alongside highly skilled chefs, refining your technique as well as contributing to a world-class guest experience.

• Prepare, cook and present high qualitya la carte dishes to five-star standards
• Work collaboratively within a friendly, fast paced, professional kitchen environment
• Support Senior Chefs in daily kitchenoperations and service delivery
• Maintain consistency, presentation andflavour across all dishes
• Adhere to strict food safety, hygiene,and workplace health and safety standards
