Job summary

Randstad in Sydney's Hills District is seeking an Account Manager to convert warm inbound leads and grow revenue across commercial, SME, and personal lines clients. You will manage end-to-end service, quoting, and renewals, leveraging underwriter relationships to secure favourable terms.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in insurance broking, a high-energy, proactive approach, and solid communication skills to build lasting client rapport.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years experience working within an insurance broking environment.
• High energy and proactive attitude with strong business development acumen.
• Knowledge of Insight (Steadfast system) is highly regarded.
• Excellent communication skills and strong ability to build rapport with customers.
• Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance.

Responsibilities

• Convert warm inbound marketing leads and generate organic referrals to write new business and grow company revenue.
• Manage the end-to-end service delivery, quoting, and renewal process for a dedicated portfolio of commercial, SME, and personal lines clients.
• Leverage strong relationships with local underwriters to negotiate premium pricing, policy wordings, and coverage extensions that benefit the client.
• Prepare detailed risk submissions and utilise broker platforms to obtain market-competitive terms.
