Job summary

Paper Australia Pty Ltd in Melbourne seeks a Commercial Sales Analyst to support the Sales team with analytics, reporting, compliance and business advisory tasks on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

Based at our Head Office in Richmond, you will help drive commercial results and support existing and new customer contracts.

Required: tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Business; CPA/ACCA preferred; SAP or ERP experience; strong attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial results through profitable business cases and support Sales with new opportunities and customer retention.
• Support management of existing customer contracts and development of new customer contracts balancing risk with commercial sustainability.
• Provide insight on portfolio financial performance via analysis of sales revenue, cost drivers, volume and margin, including monthly forecasting.
• Translate complex data into recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively across Sales, Legal, Operations and Finance.

Based at our Head Office in Richmond, the Commercial Sales Analystwill responsible for supporting the Commercial Sales Team on a range of analytical, reporting, compliance and business advisory matters. This is a 6 month fixed term contract.

You will contribute to the success of Opal by:

• Drive commercial results through the preparation of profitable business cases, supporting Sales with new business opportunities and customer retention.
• Support the management of existing customer contracts and development of new customer contracts that balance risk with commercial sustainability. Strong understanding of commercial frameworks.
• Provide insight on portfolio financial performance through the provision of value-added data analysis of sales revenue, cost drivers, volume and margin, including monthly forecasting.
• Translate complex data into recommendations that enable effective decision making by senior stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively across business functions of Sales, Legal, Operations and Finance.

Specifically for this role, we expect you will have;

• Recognised tertiary qualification in a commercial stream ( Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business) and can demonstrate an ongoing commitment to learning and personal development.
• CPA or ACCA preferred by not essential
• Experience in SAP or any other ERP system
• High attention to detail, excellent time management and result driven.
