HR Partners in Brisbane is seeking a commercial analyst to drive financial partnering across operations, sales, and corporate teams. You will provide insightful analysis of business performance and support decision-making with robust reporting.

You will own month-end reporting, budgeting and reforecasting, and contribute to dashboards, KPI tracking, and modeling for commercial initiatives and tenders. This is a hands-on role requiring strong communication and time management.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years in a commercial/operations-facing finance role.
• Advanced Excel for bottom-up modeling and complex referencing formulas.
• Experience with SAP, JDE, Oracle or Dynamics 365.
• Experience with Power BI, TM1, Planning Analytics or Hyperion.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercial analyst looking for a diverse range of work within a global leader in Industrial Services.

Working as part of a close-knit team, you will provide financial analysis, reporting, and commercial decision support for operational sites across Queensland. This role suits a hands-on analyst who excels at finance partnering with non-financial stakeholders and driving reporting efficiencies.

Your Impact:

• Stakeholder Partnering: Act as a key finance partner to Operations, Sales, and Corporate teams, providing analytical insight into business trends, operational metrics, and commercial challenges.
• Reporting & Analysis: Deliver month-end management reporting and P&L commentary to meet corporate deadlines.
• Planning & Forecasting: Assist with annual budgets and regular reforecasting, analysing performance variances against targets.
• Systems & Dashboards: Contribute to the development and maintenance of performance dashboards, reporting systems, and KPI tracking tools.
• Commercial Support & Modeling: Provide financial modeling for commercial initiatives, operational strategies, and customer tenders.
• Financial Control: Perform core operational finance tasks including journals, balance sheet reconciliations, ad-hoc invoicing, and process improvements across the function.

About You:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a commercial, operations-facing finance role.
• Technical Skills: Advanced Excel capabilities (bottom-up financial modeling and advanced referencing formulas). Experience with large ERP systems (such as SAP, JDE, Oracle, Dynamics 365) and BI tools (Power BI, TM1, Planning Analytics, or Hyperion) is required.
• Qualifications: Tertiary degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, paired with CA or CPA qualification.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills with an ability to translate financial data for operational leaders, alongside sharp attention to detail and strong time management.
