Job summary

JRT Group in Australia is seeking a hands-on civil construction operator to run trucks, excavators, and skid steers across a range of earthworks. You will work to construction programs and meet daily productivity targets.

Daily tasks include excavation, trenching, loading materials, land clearing, and general earthworks, plus pre-starts, dockets, and timesheets. You will perform basic maintenance and always apply WHS requirements and site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks, excavators, and skid steers across a range of civil construction tasks
• Excavation, trenching, grading, loading, and lifting activities
• Carting materials to and from site
• Land clearing and general earthworks
• Cleaning, lubricating, and carrying out basic preventative maintenance on plant and equipment
• Working to construction programs to meet daily productivity targets
• Completing daily paperwork, including pre-starts, dockets, and timesheets
• Applying all Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements and site procedures
