Job summary

BRUENS Earthmoving – South East Queensland is seeking an experienced Excavator/Posi/Tipper Combo Operator to join our team. You’ll operate excavators, posi-tracks, skidsteers and a tipper on residential sites across SE Queensland, with a MR licence minimum and a current White Card.

The role involves loading/unloading machinery from trucks, maintaining tidy sites, and collaborating with a small crew. The position starts casual with the potential to move to full-time after a probation period; we

• Current White Card.
• Confident across all aspects of earthmoving.
• Looks after the equipment like it’s your own.
• All relevant tickets and certs.

Responsibilities

• General earthmoving and landscaping work on residential jobs.
• Pre-starts, greasing and basic maintenance on the gear.

Excavator / Posi / Tipper Combo Operator

BRUENS Earthmoving - South East Queensland

BRUENS is a family-owned earthmoving and landscaping business working across South East Queensland. We’re getting busier and need another experienced combo operator to join the crew.

The job

Most of our work is residential and domestic services – site cuts, trenching, drainage, driveways, landscaping and retaining wall prep. You’ll be running excavators, posi-tracks and skidsteers, and driving the tipper to and from site, so you’ll need an MR licence at minimum.

You’ll also be loading and unloading machines off the truck yourself, so you need to be competent and confident doing this – no hesitation, no near misses. If that’s not something you’re comfortable with, this isn’t the role for you.

You need to be able to turn up, read the job and get on with it without someone standing over you. We keep our gear tidy and our sites clean, and we expect the same from anyone who joins us. When the machine’s parked, you’ll be off it helping the crew finish the job – that’s just how a small team works.

Day to day

Operating excavators, posi-tracks, skidsteers and tippers safely and efficiently

Loading and unloading machines on and off the truck

General earthmoving and landscaping work on residential jobs

Pre-starts, greasing and basic maintenance on the gear

Keeping sites and equipment clean and organised

Working with the rest of the crew to keep jobs moving

Following site safety requirements

What we're after
