Job summary

Office of Sport in Sydney is seeking a Regulatory Officer for Combat Sports to regulate combat sports and motor vehicle racing activities across NSW. You will exercise delegated regulatory functions, support licensing activities and contribute to regulatory outcomes.

Join a dynamic Regulation team and engage with participants, promoters and associations while delivering evidence-based regulatory services and project delivery in a purpose-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience undertaking regulatory activities and applying legislation.
• Experience delivering complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Undertake regulatory functions including assessment and processing of registrations, permits and approvals under the Combat Sports Act 2013.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with industry participants, sporting organisations and stakeholders while providing advice.
• Support project delivery through research, data analysis, reporting and monitoring to inform decisions.
