Job summary

Police Citizens Youth Club NSW (PCYC Dubbo) is seeking an enthusiastic person to join our team as a General Activities Officer. You will coach and guide young people, deliver engaging group classes, and support membership administration in a casual role.

The position offers flexible shifts (morning/afternoon) and opportunities to work with sport, recreation and youth engagement, with a strong focus on safety and fun for participants.

Qualifications

• Administration and coaching experience preferred.
• Passion for sports and team building activities.
• Reliable and trustworthy in caring for young people.
• Autonomous yet can work as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with children, customer service and relations.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic people to join our PCYC Team. An Activities Officer has a varied and flexible role, assisting with sport and administration within the Club. Whether you are new to the industry wanting to build your skills or you are experienced in sport, recreation and youth engagement roles, if you are passionate about making a life changing difference in your community, then this is the opportunity for you!

Casual position available at PCYC Dubbo
$34.96 per hour (inclusive of casual loading)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our Dubbo team to provide positive experiences to young people. In this varied and flexible role, classified as a General Activities Officer under our Enterprise Agreement, you will be coaching and guiding young people, and:

• Work as part of a team to deliver fun, interactive, engaging and safe group classes
• Provide customer service and membership administration duties, as required
