seek.com.au is seeking 5 Collections Officers for an immediate start in the Sydney CBD. Roles offer $39.20/hr + Super + monthly bonuses, Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, with a 3–6 month temporary contract and potential for extension or permanency.

Successful candidates will discuss outstanding accounts with customers, negotiate payment plans and deliver a professional customer experience while aiming to meet individual and team targets.

Formación

• Experience in Collections or Debt Recovery is desirable.
• Experience in banking or financial services is advantageous.
• Customer service or call centre experience is valuable.
• Recent university graduate seeking commercial exposure is welcome.
• Strong communication, negotiation and rapport-building skills are essential.
• Ability to work towards targets and enjoy bonus opportunities.
• Positive attitude, energy and willingness to learn.
• Available to start immediately.

Have you Just finished university and looking for a full-time role to see you through to next year? Or are you an experienced Debt Collector who loves the flexibility and variety of temping and working with different clients? Or perhaps you’ve worked in banking, financial services or a fast-paced call centre environment and are ready to try something new?

We have FIVE Collections Officer opportunities available for an immediate start working for our client based in the CBD close to Wynard.

What will you be doing?

Your day will involve:

• Having meaningful conversations with customers
• Negotiating payment arrangements and suitable outcomes

• Providing a professional and positive customer experience

Who are we looking for?

• Have experience in Collections or Debt Recovery, OR
• Have worked in banking or financial services, OR
• Have experience in a call centre/customer service environment
• You might be a recent university graduate looking to build your commercial experience
• Are confident speaking with customers and having challenging conversations
• Have strong communication, negotiation and rapport-building skills
• Enjoy working towards targets and bonus opportunities
