Job summary

Lotuspeople.Com.Au seeks an experienced Collections Officer for a fast-paced, high-volume setting in Sydney CBD. You will support customers with overdue accounts, negotiate repayment plans and help drive collections targets.

The role reports to the Collections Manager and requires empathy, professionalism and strong negotiation abilities to maintain excellent service standards while meeting targets. Immediate start offered on a 1-month contract with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Skip tracing experience required.
• Previous collections experience within financial services or related environment.
• Strong negotiation, communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to manage high call volumes and work to targets.
• Excellent attention to detail and administrative skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls to recover overdue payments.
• Negotiate and establish suitable repayment plans with customers.
• Manage inbound enquiries from customers in arrears.
• Send collections documentation and correspondence as required.
• Maintain accurate customer records and account notes.
• Investigate account information and assist with skip tracing activities where required.
• Build positive customer relationships while achieving collection outcomes.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE
