Job summary

NRMA Parks & Resorts in NSW seeks an Assistant Park Manager for Tathra Beachfront Holiday Park to lead a high-performing team and ensure exceptional guest experiences.

You will coordinate grounds and maintenance, manage contractors, and balance strategic planning with hands-on work while supporting all park operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role within hospitality or tourism operations.
• Current NSW Working With Children Check is mandatory.
• Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise multiple projects.
• Passion for delivering memorable guest experiences.
• Ability to lead from the front and foster a positive team culture.
• Experience supporting park maintenance or grounds operations is highly regarded.
• Hands-on mindset and willingness to help wherever needed.
• Strong communication with a range of stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of cost-control and service delivery.
• Flexibility, energy and a team-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the park to run like clockwork.
• Coordinate grounds and maintenance activities and future planning.
• Manage contractors and asset improvement projects.
• Balance strategic thinking with hands-on work.
• Coach and motivate team members across all areas.
• Assist with rostering and workforce planning.
• Support asset management and park presentation.
• Monitor labour and operating costs.
• Drive projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Champion safety culture for guests and staff.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and development.
• Liaise with Park Manager on maintenance issues and major projects.
