Job summary

The NRMA Parks & Resorts is seeking an Assistant Park Manager for the Tathra Beachfront Holiday Park in New South Wales. You will work with the Park Manager to deliver exceptional guest experiences and oversee day-to-day operations with a focus on grounds and maintenance.

You will coordinate maintenance, supervise staff, and balance strategic thinking with hands-on tasks. Local candidates or those willing to relocate are encouraged, with staff accommodation available.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervisory or leadership role within grounds, maintenance, facilities, tourism or hospitality.
• Current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required.
• Strong organisational and planning skills with ability to prioritise multiple projects.
• Genuine passion for guest experience and creating memorable stays.
• Lead from the front and build a positive team culture.
• Hands-on mindset and willingness to contribute wherever needed.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of the park to ensure smooth running.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and asset improvements with the Grounds & Maintenance Team.
• Recruit, coach and motivate team members across all areas of the business.
• Assist with rostering and workforce planning to maintain seamless operations.
• Monitor labour and operating costs and contribute to financial performance.
• Drive park upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure a strong safety culture for guests and staff.
