Job summary

Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority seeks two casual Caravan Park Attendants to join our Accommodation Services team across Princetown and Port Campbell Recreation Reserves. The role supports daily operations, guest services, cleaning and grounds maintenance to keep our coastal parks welcoming and well-presented.

This hands-on position suits those who enjoy customer-facing work, outdoor tasks and a varied mix of duties, from housekeeping to minor repairs.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, hospitality, tourism, retail or a similar environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist across a variety of duties.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Practical experience in cleaning, grounds maintenance, general maintenance, or a combination of these areas.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and delivering excellent service.
• First Aid Certificate would be advantageous.
• Experience using RMS or similar booking systems.
• Experience with safe manual handling practices and chemical use.
• Applicants must hold a current Australian Driver's Licence and be able to obtain the required pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Providing friendly and professional customer service to guests in person, over the phone and via email.
• Assisting with bookings, enquiries and reservations using our booking systems.
• Supporting guests throughout their stay and helping resolve customer concerns.
• Cleaning cabins, amenities blocks, kitchens, offices and other shared facilities to a high standard.
• Maintaining grounds through mowing, pruning, weeding, mulching and general landscaping.
• Undertaking general maintenance and handyman tasks, including minor repairs and painting.
• Assisting with rubbish removal, stock handling and maintaining the overall presentation of the parks.
• Working collaboratively with the broader Accommodation Services team to deliver safe, welcoming and enjoyable visitor experiences.
