Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority is seeking an Accommodation Relief Manager to provide short-term management support across our accommodation portfolio along the iconic Great Ocean Road. This casual role is expected to run for about three months with potential extension and will involve approximately full‑time hours, across caravan parks, reserves and accommodation sites.

The position requires travel between locations, with accommodation support provided when working away from home.

Formación

• Significant experience in accommodation, hospitality, tourism or caravan park management.
• Leadership or supervisory experience, including rosters and staff performance.
• Budgeting, payroll, stock control and operational administration experience.
• Confident with accommodation management systems such as RMS or similar software.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Hands-on maintenance and site presentation skills.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.

Responsabilidades

• Provide relief management across accommodation sites along the Great Ocean Road.
• Lead day-to-day operations of caravan parks, recreation reserves and accommodation facilities.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve guest inquiries professionally.
• Supervise, support and develop site-based teams.
• Oversee reservations, administration, financial reconciliations and reporting.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and ensure high-standard facilities.
• Monitor site safety and compliance as per policies.
• Respond to operational issues, including after-hours matters.
• Collaborate with Accommodation Services Manager for performance and improvement.
