Job summary

REPLINE is a Sydney-based manufacturer seeking a CNC Machinist for lathe programming and setting. The role covers reading drawings, tool setting, and producing first-off components to quality standards.

You will work with multi-axis CNC lathes, troubleshoot issues, and stay aligned with production goals. Experience with Doosan lathes and Fanuc controls is highly regarded; a strong safety and quality mindset is essential.

Qualifications

Hands-on CNC lathe programming and setting experience.
Strong knowledge of CNC machining principles, tooling, feeds, speeds and tolerances.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Ability to independently set up a CNC lathe for a new component.
Experience with precision measuring equipment.
Commitment to quality, productivity and workplace safety.
Positive, reliable, and team-focused attitude.
Experience with multi-axis CNC turning is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Manual programming and setting of CNC lathes
Setting tools, offsets and machining parameters
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and tolerances
Programming and adjusting CNC machine settings as required
Selecting appropriate tooling and understanding tooling use, wear and replacement cycles
Producing first-off components and verifying dimensions before production
Troubleshooting machining, tooling and quality issues
Producing quality components while maintaining production efficiency and safety
Working to production goals and output targets
Collaborating with Production Manager to maintain schedules and workflow
