Job description

You'll program, set, and operate CNC lathes and mills, handling work that ranges from small precision components to large industrial parts, across varied materials and mixed production quantities. This role is hands-on G-code programming - you'll write and edit programs directly, some CAM software involved.

About you

• Proven experience as a CNC machinist and programmer, writing G-code directly
• Strong understanding of machining principles and best practices
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
• Experience with one-off and small-batch precision work
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Able to work autonomously in a busy workshop
• CNC machining - 3 years (required)
• CNC programming (G-code) - 3 years (preferred)
• Full Australian work authorisation
