Job summary

Surf Life Saving NSW seeks an organised Club Capability Coordinator (Training & Education) to turn training needs into practical support for priority clubs and volunteers. Based at Belrose, you’ll work with training managers to strengthen trainer capability and coordinate delivery across NSW.

You will design and evaluate a pilot training administration support service, supported by the Club Capability Administration Officer, and report progress against agreed plans.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating training, education or capability-building initiatives.
• Strong ability to manage multiple activities, stakeholders and deadlines.
• Experience with volunteers or community organisations is beneficial.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Consult with priority clubs and volunteer training managers to identify training needs.
• Identify gaps in trainer and assessor capability and develop practical plans.
• Build training plans with clubs, branches and SLSNSW stakeholders.
• Recruit, coordinate and support casual trainers and assessors.
• Coordinate courses and training activities in response to identified club needs.
• Support co-delivery and development opportunities for probationary trainers.
