Dedicated Staffing Solutions Currumbin QLD is seeking an Education Development Coordinator to deliver Life Saving courses and support compliant training across Branch operations. This is a part-time role with after-hours, evening and weekend commitments depending on course schedules.

You hold a Certificate IV or higher in Training and Assessment; Surf Life Saving Trainer-Assessor experience is preferred, and familiarity with SurfGuard or aXcelerate is beneficial.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, deliver and develop Life Saving Education programs.

• Use data to support planning and decision making across clubs and Branch operations.

Who you'll be working with

SLSQ Point Danger Branch is a leading volunteer organisation that saves lives and keeps Queensland beaches safer through lifesaving operations, member training, youth development, and coastal safety education.

About the Role

The Education Development Coordinator will deliver Life Saving courses to Branch members and support the delivery of compliant nationally accredited and non-accredited surf awards and training. This is a part-time role, with some after-hours, evening, and weekend day work required depending on course schedules.

About You

• Hold a Certificate IV or higher qualification in Training and Assessment
• Current experience as a Surf Life Saving Trainer-Assessor is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including evaluation report writing
• Identify and deliver education opportunities aligned with LTP and RTO requirements
• Knowledge of SurfGuard and aXcelerate, or a willingness to learn
• Experience working with volunteers, clubs, committees, and boards is desirable

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate, deliver and develop relevant programs within Life Saving Education
• Facilitate education calendar and communications regarding course
• Use data analysis and reporting to support planning and decision makingCoordinate multiple projects and priorities across clubs and Branch operation
• Liaise and remain up to date with RTO requirements

As training coordination may be delivered in various locations and with various age groups you must hold a current driver's licence and working with children blue card.
